"I walked in on a Sunday and I actually wanted to visit a nearby restaurant but noticed how busy with locals and so vibrant Kopiloco was so I decided to try their lunch. I had their signature white coffee and Laksa soup. The coffee was good. However, their Laksa Soup was so GOOD! The team is very friendly. One of the ladies (Felicia) behind the counter came to my table to help me decide order once I signaled that I needed help. Thanks for the great food and welcoming service and atmosphere."

"Must be the internal decor, piped folk music. The coffee tastes better than any I've had in JB. Place is neat and spaciously laid out. I must come back for the Nasi Biryani with Rendang Chicken. Lastly, all staff wears hair nets for hygiene and I like it."

"I was having a tea break here. Ordered hot signature coffee, wheat bread butter kaya toast and half boil eggs. Toast and kampung eggs are pretty yummy but the coffee not hot or may consider warm. As coffee lover I like hot coffee, trying to ask for replacement. The handsome boy immediately served another really hot coffee. That's great service and i am happy to enjoy the coffee"

"Very good – strongly recommended overall for a quick Nanyang breakfast just across the causeway. Kopiloco by 1993 on Tan Hiok Nee Street is a solid, no-fuss Nanyang breakfast stop worth the short drive from JB customs. We had the chicken chop with dark sauce dry noodles, margarine sugar toast, half-boiled kampung eggs, a kopi + milo, and teh C ice — all reasonably priced. The noodles were well-seasoned without being heavy, and the classic kopitiam toast-and-eggs combo was done right, served in those charming green floral cups. If you're crossing the causeway for a morning in JB, this is an easy, affordable pick along the heritage walk."

"Headed to Kopiloco and was not disappointed with the wide variety of food available. We had the chicken noodle soup, the dry mee siam, the kaya butter toast and the nasi lemak with rendang and all of them hit the spot for breakfast! It was very hearty and the portions were just nice! The accompanying coffees were not too sweet and gave a great caffeine kick to start the day. Definitely returning when in the area!"

"Enjoyed their opulent signature laksa, which was deeply indulgent—rich, lemak, and bursting with flavour. It paired beautifully with a refreshing honey lemon drink."

"A must-visit spot! The fusion of Malay and Chinese flavors is authentic and absolutely delicious. To top it off, the coffee is excellent—rich and perfectly brewed. It's the perfect place for a great breakfast or a casual hang out. Highly recommended"
